Director’s Corner

Thank you to the families for helping with dinners for Luke ( our toddler that has cancer and is under going chemo therapy treatments).

They want to tell everyone thank you so much and that they are so grateful for the help.

Halloween Party

The Halloween Party was a huge success! We loved all of the adorable costumes and the parties were a big hit! Thank you to all of the families that participated! We always have such great participation at all of our events! Thank you!

I’m a BIG Kid Now!!

Zaiden and Olivia are potty trained! Way to go!!

We were closed for Columbus Day in October for our workshop. It was a great day that our staff was able to participate in 8 hours of the required 15 hours of continuing education each year! We learned so many new teaching methods and we also had a chance to do some fall cleaning in the classrooms. We will have the next workshop on Good Friday next spring.

Holiday Pictures

Holiday pictures will be on November 2 & 3^rd. We will do Infants, toddlers and two’s on Thursday, November 2^nd and three’s, four’s and five’s on Friday, November 3^rd!

Holiday Closings

We are closed on Thursday, November 23^rd & Friday, November 24^th- to celebrate Thanksgiving!!

Fire Prevention month was in October. We celebrated by having the Springfield fire department come to Pleasant Run and the children were able to get inside the fire engine and pretend to drive! They loved it! We were so thankful to have the Spfld fire department to take the time to come to our center and teach us about fire safety! See the new pictures on our check- in computer!

Donations Needed

We would love to improve some of our house-keeping areas. We would love to have any of the following donations. So, if you are cleaning out your cupboards, here are some things we are looking for:

- plastic mixing bowls

- kitchen utensils ( no sharp edges)

- Plastic cups

- Measuring cups

- Fake or plastic food

- Rugs

- Small lamps

- Baskets

· If you have any old kids clothes. We could use the extra clothes. Ex: pants, long sleeve shirts, underwear
