  Potty Patrol

We are so proud of our little ones for mastering the art of going potty on the potty!  We know that it takes lots of hard work and lots of concentration to accomplish this goal! Great Job!! Keep up the great work!

Dawson, Drew, Samantha, Chase, Charlie, Joshua, and Paige are scooting and rolling around everywhere!

Eva, Cannon, and Luke are growing like crazy!

Binky Fairy

The binky fairy has also arrived at Pleasant Run and helped many of the children to give up their binky while they are at school. We are so proud of their bravery in giving up such a difficult thing! Great work children!

Peanut Free ZoneDon’t forget… Pleasant Run is a Peanut Free Zone. We have several children within the center that have severe peanut allergies. We do not serve anything with peanuts in them. Please try to remember this when picking out treats for your child’s room! It’s also good to check the labels- sometimes a food has been on the same belt as one with peanuts. As always, we want to keep all of the children at Pleasant Run safe!

Thank you to Melanie McKeown for bringing in a magician for her birthday! The Foxy Fours and the Monkey Room loved the show! What a special treat! Thank you!

Learning is Fun!

We want to say thank you for all of the families that participate in our letter of the week. It has been very successful this year with all of our children participating and we have seen real success in the children understanding sounds that each letter makes. The children love all of the activities that we do each week with the letters and they love to show off their creative show and share items! Miss Mary has also done a fantastic job of incorporating snacks each week that coordinate with the letter. So even during snack time the children are still learning about their letters! Often times, the children are having so much fun, they don’t even realize it is really a part of our lesson plan. That is our goal here at Pleasant Run, to make learning fun!
